Q. After the trial period, how much is membership?
A. Currently, the membership is FREE until September 2010, at which time we will re-evaluate the site. We encourage you to give us feedback and let us know how we can best serve the dental community. Q. How many CLUBS can I join?
A. You can JOIN as many groups or clubs as you wish. You can start as many clubs or groups as you wish. HOWEVER!! Be careful about starting too many, as it might dilute the membership and input on certain TOPICS. So, we always suggest you browse thoroughly BEFORE starting a new club. Some of the activities you might be attempting to accomplish can be done with simply sending a message through the MESSAGE CENTER to a friend. If you are starting a CLUB that represents a currently existing CLUB, ORGANIZATION or SCHOOL and you are NOT the leader of it, if your CLUB gets challenged, we may ask for documentation proving you have the physical club rights. (For example, if someone started the American Dental Association club online and the ADA.org disapproved of it, we would be forced to remove it.) Please get the authorization from any currently existing clubs BEFORE you create one online within the DSC, and if you create a "HATE CLUB" online, we will disallow you from participating in conversations. For example you cannot create an "I hate the ADA club". That is neither the purpose nor intention of this website. If you should identify an organization as such, please report it and we will address it accordingly.
Q. What if I want someone to help me administer my club online but don't want them accessing all my messages?
A. If you have one or more people who will be contributing to your website and supporting you in marketing the club, you can add them as a DSC member but call it "ADMIN" or "STAFF" as their name instead, and then make them a MODERATOR with full access on your CLUB site, but not your personal message center.
